Manitoba Telecom Launches Iacta's Games4TV™
Los Angeles, CA -December 9, 2004 -- MTS TV subscribers can do more than just watch TV this winter as MTS TV launches Iacta's Games4TV(TM) as an interactive On Demand Service that lets MTS subscribers play favorite games on TV with their remote control. MTS TV is a TV service of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc., a telecommunications provider in Manitoba, Canada. The Games4TV package deployed by MTS includes classic games like Video Poker, Reversi, Cinqo, Depth Charge and Golf Solitaire, as well as some Iacta original iTV Games such as Train, Pyramid of Anubis and Round 'em Up! All of the games run directly in the Motorola RG2200 set-top-box using its built-in interactive capability, and require no additional server or middleware. Each game includes 'Picture in Game' functionality, so subscribers can keep track of what is on TV while they play, or switch back and forth during commercials.
