OUR WORK Iacta serves its clients as developers, researchers, and consultants in the area of user interaction via television. DEVELOPERS Our projects include user interaction (structure) and user interface (visual) design for interactive television, digital cable, and Web on TV products and services, design and development of content for interactive television and Web on TV, "TV optimization" of existing content, video and CD-ROM development, and related projects. We have extensive WebTV experience, and are ready today to help you address this exciting new market opportunity. RESEARCHERS Iacta's Interactive Television Laboratory is a shared-sponsorship project that conducts continuing market research, evaluates delivery platforms, develops and tests production methodology, and tests user reactions to interactive content. Our regular lab releases include market reports, a Style Guide for interactive TV content production, templates, tutorials, hardware and service test results, and user tests and surveys. Sponsors also have access to Iacta's lab and test sites for their own testing. CONSULTANTS We work with each of our clients to help them evaluate the impact of the converging technologies and consumer use patterns on their business areas, and to develop strategies to best take advantage of the opportunities that these developing markets present. OUR CAPABILITIES Iacta's capabilities include the technologies and creative resources necessary for virtually any type of interactive and/or audio-visual development. We have, or have access to, the necessary equipment and knowhow for audio and video production for any platform, as well as design, creation and output capability for print, film and computer animation. We are experienced database designers, and programmers/authors in Director, Java and JavaScript, C++ and Visual Basic, as well as extended HTML. We run our own servers, with the capability of SQL and SSL, RealMedia, Chat, ColdFusion, and Active Server Pages. We also create applications for CD-ROM delivery on any platform. Our consulting experience includes strategic and market analysis, product development, and marketing in a variety of industries including consumer electronics, media, telecommunications, health care (human and veterinary), educational and entertainment software, software tools, distribution, banking, and energy. OUR CLIENTS Iacta's clients include Citicorp, Americast, Center for Rehabilitation Technologies Inc. (a Georgia Tech subsidiary), and Toppan Printing (Japan).
